offering a total boxy design. It feels a bit thick, but in terms of weight and feel, I don't have any issues. The volume rockers and power on/off button have a dynamic style. Samsung has named it dynamically, but I can't recall the exact name. Another thing is its weight, which is approximately 200g, as officially recorded. Generally, Samsung phones have a good weight, and I quite like the in-hand experience. Compared to the A14, there are significant improvements in the A15's design.
Samsung A15 5G Display Quality
Talking about the display, samsung A15 5g features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, a significant upgrade from the A14's PLS LCD. Samsung's top-tier display with a 90Hz refresh rate is decent considering the price. It offers a peak brightness of 800 nits. I have no complaints about the display due to the advantages of Super AMOLED, providing a much better viewing angle. If you've used Super AMOLED before, there's not much more to say. On YouTube, I checked the maximum resolution, which goes up to 1440p. Due to processor limitations, you might not be able to watch videos in complete 4K, but I believe 1440p will provide a satisfactory experience.
Samsung A15 5G Performance
Regarding performance, it comes with OneUI 6 out of the box, making it the first phone with this feature. The processor used here is the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, built on a 6nm architecture. I think if it were built on a 5nm architecture, it could have been more battery efficient. However, this processor isn't very high-end, offering a max clock speed of only 2.2 GHz. Hence, you can't expect exceptional performance. These were the on-paper specifications I shared.
Samsung A15 5G Camera
Now, onto the camera. It features a rear setup of 50MP + 5MP + 2MP, where the 5MP is an ultrawide lens. The front camera is 13MP, and I quite liked its camera samples
even though a 16MP or 20MP selfie camera would have been better. Nowadays, companies often enhance selfies through software. As for videos, it doesn't support 4K, only allowing full HD recording at 30fps. This is slightly disappointing, as for a price above ₹15,000, Samsung should provide 4K video recording. Talking about features, it has Pro mode, full mode, night mode, macro mode, slow motion, and hyperlapse. Compared to last year's A14, there are significant updates in the A15's camera, making Samsung stand out in this aspect.
Samsung A15 5G Battery
Regarding the battery, I can't comment much on the backup since it's been only 3 to 4 hours since I bought it. Currently, it has a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W charging, although the inbox charger isn't included. If you have a charger, it should work fine. Otherwise, you can use another company's 15W charger, but it will charge at a slower rate.
Samsung A15 5G Speakers
Speaking of speakers, there's a single speaker here, providing decent quality considering the price range. New speakers usually don't gather dust and offer a more enriching experience.
Conclusion
I've tried my best to give you a rough idea of how this phone is. In my opinion, it's a good option for normal usage. You can even consider it as a secondary phone or as a gift for a family member. However, if you're into hardcore gaming or editing, I wouldn't recommend this phone. But it can be used as a secondary phone for browsing, YouTube surfing, etc. That's all for this article. If you liked it, don't forget to share it with your family and friends because it might be beneficial for them. I'll keep bringing detailed and in-depth articles. Until then, bye, guys. Stay safe and keep rocking!"
