Is AirPods 2 still worth it in 2023? I'll tell you in this article why. Because I bought these brand new AirPods in 2023, and it's not like there aren't any other AirPods available. That's why I'm sharing this. I have AirPods 3, AirPods Pro, and I use various Apple products like iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks, along with my Apple Watch. The AirPods synchronize seamlessly with my iPhone. For instance, if I'm watching a video on my Mac and working on my iPad, they automatically connect there. If I leave home without my iPhone but have my cellular Apple Watch, the calls route automatically to my AirPods. I don't need to manually connect them; just opening the case and putting them in my ears automatically pairs them with all my devices I'm using at that moment. The audio routes automatically to whichever device I'm using. This convenience within Apple's ecosystem is why I prefer using their products for the best experience. You might see reviews for earbuds and headphones ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹10,000 these days, but I personally don't use them long-term, just for reviews. So, considering the modern technology and various AirPods available in 2023, such as AirPods Pro and AirPods 3, I'll discuss where they stand and who should consider getting them and who should completely avoid them in that article."

"According to the 2023 perspective, let me tell you how these Airpods are. It's a fantastic product; that's why I got it. Despite the presence of Airpods 3 and Airpods Pro, I chose to buy it. Apple also understands this, which is why despite launching Airpods 3, they didn't discontinue Airpods 2. Otherwise, it's a cheaper product in Apple's lineup, and it has its place. Many people who want a no-nonsense product should consider Airpods 2. I'm calling it a no-nonsense product because it connects seamlessly without any trouble. If you go for Airpods Pro, after Apple's software updates, it tends to create some issues. Even after wearing them, sometimes they don't connect automatically; you have to manually connect them. But with Airpods 2, I haven't faced this issue. If Airpods 2 gives a problem once in a hundred times, Airpods 3 will give it ten times out of a hundred. Another reason, friends, is its wearing comfort. It's extremely comfortable; you won't even feel it in your ears. The same is with Airpods 3, but they are much more expensive. So, if you want a value-for-money product, you can go for Apple Airpods 2. Then there are Airpods Pro, which have silicone tips and an in-ear fit. Some might find this type of fit uncomfortable. If you find this uncomfortable, you should opt for Airpods 2. Even today, they are a good choice. Another reason, friends, is the technology of Airpods 2. The technology it holds is also present in Airpods 3 and Airpods Pro. You'll find the same Apple H1 chipset, giving you support for 'Hey Siri' and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity. You'll get the same connection speed inside it,

making Airpods 2 a value-for-money option in 2023. The battery life of Airpods 2 is another reason. The battery life of Airpods 2 is much less compared to Airpods 3, about one hour less. But compared to Airpods Pro, it's half an hour more. Airpods Pro have more features due to noise cancellation, which reduces its battery life. But still, you won't have to charge your Airpods frequently with Airpods 2 because they offer a longer battery life. On a single charge, you get 5 hours of music listening time, which is quite impressive."

"Now I've mentioned so many reasons. Besides the positive aspects, you should also consider two negative reasons. If you're heavily into sports, go to the gym often, or like getting wet in the rain while wearing AirPods, then doing this with any version of AirPods is not advisable. However, if you still wish to do this, AirPods Pro or AirPods 3 would be better because they're sweat and water-resistant, a feature not found in AirPods 2. 

If this gets wet, it could malfunction. Even my AirPods 2 got damaged when they got wet, despite having a lifespan of three years. They could've lasted longer with proper care. Another reason not to buy this is if you heavily consume music and movies. In that case, you should go for AirPods Pro or AirPods 3. You won't find any additional features in AirPods 2, while the AirPods Pro offer many useful features, such as spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. When you wear them and move your head, the sound changes as if you're in a theater, creating a surround sound experience. If your phone is placed in front of you and you're positioned on the left side, you'll feel like the audio is coming from the left side, providing an amazing experience that only those who've tried it can understand. 

So, after considering all these points with AirPods, you should opt for either AirPods Pro or AirPods 3. AirPods 2 won't be of much use to you.The second reason is, if you already have AirPods 2, you shouldn't buy another pair. In fact, due to this reason, you should opt for AirPods Pro, which has a feature similar to AirPods 3 - the skin detect sensor. In AirPods 2, there's an optical sensor, and when you wear them, the audio automatically routes. But the downside of the optical sensor is that even if you keep them in your pocket and talk on the phone, the audio routes through them because the optical sensor gets covered by an object, making it feel like they're still in your ears. Apple introduced the skin detect sensor in AirPods 3, which only routes audio when it detects contact with your skin. The best among them is AirPods 3, but if it's beyond your budget because they're pricier compared to AirPods 2, then you should go for the latter, which is a value-for-money product in its category among these three AirPods.I use them most of the time because, for one, I need to review them regularly; there are updates and occasional issues that arise.
